The Finance Manager supports hotel financial leadership, ensuring strong control, compliance, and stakeholder communication. As a trusted advisor, the role drives profitability, fosters innovation, and helps build a high-performing, efficient finance organization in partnership with the General Manager.



Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as a strategic business partner to the General Manager and hotel leadership team.
  • Drive financial performance and ensure compliance with all relevant policies, regulations, and contractual obligations.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders including Commercial, IT, Procurement, HR, Operations, Shared Service Centers, Owners, Asset Managers, and Regional Finance teams.
  • Support the development of high-performing hotel finance teams through coaching and participation in finance development programs.
  • Ensure the hotel operates in compliance with its management agreement and report any issues of non-compliance.
  • Communicate financial insights and performance updates with clarity and impact across all levels of the organization.

Qualifications & Skills

Required:

  • Proven ability to analyze complex financial data and produce actionable reports, forecasts, and projections.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to collaborate effectively to resolve issues.
  • Proactive mindset with the ability to identify and mitigate potential risks.
  • Experience in managing and developing finance staff.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills across all levels of management and external stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook; ability to quickly learn new systems.
  • Fluency in written and spoken Portuguese and English.

Preferred:

  • University degree in Accounting or Finance.
