About the Position

As a full stack engineer, youll be an integral part of our client's early team. Youll help lay the technical foundation of our product as we work toward MVP and product-market fit. Using modern technologies, youll build critical features while delivering a user experience that delights our customers. Youll help define engineering practices that support a culture of collaboration, authenticity, and excellence. More than that, youll join a tight-knit team of repeat founders and seasoned operators in shaping the future of SaaS.

What Youll Do

• Partner with technical founders, design, and product management to create a category-defining product
• Translate nuanced business concepts into software throughout our stack
• Be versatile and able to switch gears between frontend and backend engineering
• Be focused on shipping value with high velocity and ambition
• Build reliable software with an incremental, practical, and iterative mindset

About You

• You have a minimum of 3 years work experience (full-time) working across the stack in a production environment
• Youre proficient in React
• Youve built modern APIs using REST or GraphQL
• Youve built backends using NodeJS
• Youre familiar with Postgres or MySQL
• You have solid fundamentals in code repository management, build systems and CI/CD pipelines
• Youve worked with publicly-available SaaS APIs (e.g. Stripe, Twilio, Segment.io, Docusign, Salesforce)
• Youve excelled in creating visually appealing, user-centric web interfaces for outstanding UX
• You have a proven track record of maintaining production systems as an on-call operator
• Youd excel working in a dynamic and high-trust environment alongside an experienced team
