Position Description

We are looking for a People Operations Specialist who will increase process efficiency, team morale, and consultant and client retention.  You will be the clear default for first-level questions for our 20 consultants and counting.  In this role you will ensure hireworks consultants feel an increased level of support and clarity around HR processes and policies, and have a smoother onboarding experience.  

What you'll do

  • Consultant onboarding: from the time a candidate verbally accepts a position with a hireworks client you will lead the onboarding process from start to finish, ensuring it is smooth and clear. This will include:
    • generating and completing consultants contracts

    • liaising with clients on onboarding details (login instructions, preparation of materials)

    • order and coordinate delivery of laptop

    • develop and facilitate official hireworks onboarding program to introduce new hires to our processes, systems, ways of working, contacts etc.

  • Own payroll process for all hireworks consultants and team members ensuring timely and accurate payment. 

  • Serve as the day to day HR contact for all hireworks employees ensuring there is timely and consistent communication - both proactively and reactively (i.e. hosting regular 1:1s and group sessions, and being extremely responsive to inbound inquiries).

  • Plan local events as needed for hireworks consultants (dinners, networking, co-working opportunities, etc)

  • Support recruiting efforts (i.e. employer branding, scheduling interviews, meeting with candidates to answer questions)

  • Develop, track, and analyze NPS data collection from clients and consultants, reporting findings back to leadership and creating proactive solutions to address constructive feedback

About you

  • Experience in HR services agency/consultancy as well as in-house HR preferred

  • Deep knowledge of Bulgarian employment law and some understanding of international law 
  • Flexible working hours 

  • Must thrive in a fast-paced environment and be comfortable moving quickly
  • Entrepreneurial spirit and start up inclination - must be a builder who will bring new ideas, thing big, be scrappy and be willing to flex in the role as needed
