This position is ideal for a nurse executive who thrives in a hands-on environment, values team mentorship, and is passionate about improving rural healthcare delivery. The incoming CNO will have the chance to influence long-term strategy, strengthen clinical operations, and help develop a new generation of nurse leaders.
Highlights:
- Oversee core hospital departments including Inpatient Nursing, Emergency Services, Surgical Services, Employee Health, Utilization Management, Pharmacy, and Clinical Education.
- Foster a collaborative culture through a shared governance model.
- Opportunity to build on a strong foundation of physician relationships and elevate quality initiatives.
Requirements:
- RN license required; ability to obtain Idaho licensure.
- BSN required; Masters degree preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive nursing leadership experience.
- Understanding of rural healthcare dynamics and regulatory compliance (e.g., DNV or TJC).
