About This Role:
We are seeking a Finance Analyst with first-hand experience building eCommerce financial models from scratch. This is not a maintenance role. You will architect, refine, and pressure-test financial models that directly inform founder-level decision-making.

You must understand how eCommerce businesses actually work — from ad spend and CAC to AOV, CVR, fulfillment costs, and contribution margins — and be comfortable working in ambiguous, fast-moving environments.

This role requires independent thinking, intellectual curiosity, and the confidence to challenge assumptions when needed.

Key Responsibilities:

• Build full 3-statement financial models from scratch for eCommerce and CPG businesses

• Incorporate marketing metrics such as CAC, CVR, traffic, AOV, and ad spend into revenue forecasting

• Model cost structures, including COGS, fulfillment, shipping, and operational expenses

• Develop dynamic cash flow forecasts and scenario planning models

• Conduct unit economics and contribution margin analysis

• Translate complex financial data into clear, actionable insights for founders

• Participate in strategic discussions and challenge assumptions when appropriate

• Support integration of financial models into BI tools or data visualization platforms

• Leverage AI and automation tools to improve efficiency and model accuracy

Software/Platforms/Tools:

• Google Sheets (Advanced Financial Modeling)

• BI Tools (Looker Studio, Power BI, or similar)

• Google Suite

• Project Management Platform - Notion

• AI Tools

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field

• At least 5–10 years of professional experience, with at least 2–3 years in eCommerce, DTC, or CPG environments

• Proven experience building eCommerce financial models from scratch

• Strong understanding of CAC, LTV, CVR, AOV, ad spend modeling, and cost structures

• Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to operate independently in ambiguity

• Demonstrated ability to challenge unclear instructions and think critically

• Advanced proficiency in Google Sheets or Excel

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with client-facing confidence (C1 or C2 level)

• Experience with BI tools or data visualization platforms preferred

• Experience with AI tools and workflow automation preferred

• CPA/CA not required, but strong financial sophistication is required

• LatAm-based candidates strongly preferred

Shift Schedule:

• Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM US EST, with flexibility for a 2 to 3 hour overlap if required.
