About This Role:
We’re hiring a Technical Implementation & Support Engineer to support Series A/B SaaS companies and high-growth Shopify brands whose CTOs and senior engineers are overloaded. This role focuses on hands-on execution, including managing QA, troubleshooting production issues, implementing modules and integrations, and supporting clients' onboarding. The ideal candidate is technically strong, detail-oriented, and comfortable operating in fast-paced environments where reliability and speed matter.
Key Responsibilities:
Own technical onboarding and implementation for new clients
Install, configure, and maintain platform modules and third-party integrations
Troubleshoot and resolve production bugs and system issues
Support QA testing, write test cases, and ensure release quality
Handle basic to mid-level feature development and code fixes
Assist with API integrations and webhooks
Monitor system performance and escalate architectural concerns when needed
Collaborate with CTO, Product, and Customer Success teams
Maintain clean documentation for implementations and fixes
Improve internal technical processes to reduce recurring issues
Software/Platforms/Tools:
Modern frontend frameworks such as React, Vue, or similar
Backend frameworks such as Node.js, Ruby on Rails, Python, or similar
REST APIs and/or GraphQL
AWS, GCP, or comparable cloud infrastructure
Git-based workflows such as GitHub, GitLab, or Bitbucket
CI/CD pipelines
Shopify for eCommerce-focused clients
Issue tracking tools such as Jira, Linear, or ClickUp
Postman or API testing tools
Slack and Google Workspace
Qualifications:
3–5 years of freelancing experience.
Excellent written and verbal English communication (C1 or C2 level)
3–5+ years of hands-on development or technical support experience
Experience in high-growth SaaS or eCommerce environments
Proven ability to troubleshoot live production systems
Experience supporting client onboarding or implementation
Comfortable working directly with CTOs or senior technical leaders
Strong debugging and problem-solving skills
Ability to balance speed with code quality
Experience in remote, cross-functional teams
Independent, proactive, and execution-focused
Shift Schedule:
Monday to Friday, with required overlap during U.S. business hours
