Commitment: Full-time (40 hours/week) preferred; open to part-time (20–30 hours/week, pro-rated pay)

About This Role:
We are hiring an Operations Analyst to support a growing consumer brand in managing day-to-day supply chain and fulfillment operations. This role will own executional workflows across freight coordination, purchase and sales order management, EDI processing, and kitting requests, ensuring smooth and accurate movement of goods across 3PL partners and retail channels.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate domestic and international freight shipments (LTL, FTL, parcel, and ocean/air freight)

  • Manage day-to-day operations and communication with 3PL partners

  • Create and maintain accurate purchase orders (POs) across systems

  • Process and manage EDI transactions, including orders, ASNs, and invoicing

  • Place kitting and bundling requests to support inventory availability

  • Track shipments and proactively resolve delays, discrepancies, or issues

  • Ensure compliance with retailer routing guides, labeling, and documentation requirements

  • Maintain accurate inventory and logistics data across systems

  • Collaborate with internal teams across operations, finance, and customer support

  • Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy

Software/Platforms/Tools:

  • EDI platforms such as SPS Commerce, TrueCommerce, or similar

  • 3PL and warehouse management systems (WMS)

  • Shipping and freight platforms (e.g., Freight Tracking))

  • Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Drive)

  • Slack and Zoom for communication

  • Project management tools such as ClickUp, Asana, or Trello

  • Spreadsheet tools such as Google Sheets or Excel

Qualifications:

  • At least 3 to 5 years of freelancing or remote work experience

  • 5+ years of experience in logistics, supply chain, or fulfillment operations

  • Strong experience in freight coordination across multiple shipping modes

  • Hands-on experience managing 3PL partners and warehouse workflows

  • Experience working with EDI systems and retail compliance processes

  • Excellent written and verbal English communication (C1 or C2 level)

  • Highly organized with strong time management and prioritization skills

  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to execute accurately under deadlines

  • Ability to manage multiple workflows in a fast-paced environment

Nice to have:

  • Experience working with national retail accounts such as Target or similar big-box retailers

  • Background in direct-to-consumer (DTC) or eCommerce product-based companies

  • Familiarity with inventory planning or demand forecasting

  • Experience with process optimization or supply chain analytics

Shift Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM (Eastern Time – Ontario, Canada)
