Position: General Manager - Restaurant Food Service

Location: Brookville, Pennsylvania

Salary: Based on experience

Industry: Hospitality / Food Service / Quick Serve

Reports to: District Manager

Position Summary:

The General Managers are the Leaders of the Restaurant Management Team. You will provide direction, training, and the expertise required to ensure the customer's expectations are exceeded and each shift you oversee achieves its business and Operations goals. Under the direction of a District Manager, the General Manager is responsible for the restaurant's daily operations and Business Goals.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • You will Maintain day-to-day financial controls
  • You will Create and manage staff schedules
  • You will Interview, hire, train, and orientate the team
  • You will Oversee coaching, counseling, developing staff and managing team relations.
  • You will Exercise proper food handling, equipment maintenance, and facility management
  • You will Ensure health and safety inspections and standards are met

Education and Qualifications:

  • Must have 5+ years of Restaurant and Food Service experience.
  • Must have 5+ years of Restaurant and Food Service Operations, and Business knowledge (P&L management, food safety, sales forecasting, staffing.
  • Must have excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
  • Must have strong interpersonal and people skills, and have an Outgoing, Gregarious, friendly, and enthusiastic attitude.
  • Have a creative approach to marketing for fundraisers, community engagement, and involvement.
  • Possess a passion for leadership and team development.
  • Must have the ability to deliver an enjoyable guest experience.
  • Previous restaurant experience.
  • Have the ability to multi-task and assist when needed.
  • Have the ability to communicate in the primary language(s) of the work location.
