Summary

  • We're looking for a Senior Marketing Analyst to lead the strategy and tactics for large and complex Google Ads and Meta accounts ($25k-$300k/mo in spend), including setting KPIs, driving strategy, implementing experiments, auditing keywords, communicating with clients and more.
  • Most of your effort will be on Google Ads, but we are gradually expanding our Meta Ads work as well
  • You will have support from our founder and other analysts, but will be expected to manage the vast majority of account strategy with autonomy and confidence.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze the status of each clients Google Ads and Meta account, understanding performance at a high level including whether were hitting stated goals but also diving deep into granular performance at campaign, ad group, keyword and ad creative levels to understand whats working and what can be improved.
  • Write weekly, detailed 3-10 paragraph account performance updates per client, covering a high level account overview, results from result changes and experiments, proposals for next steps, questions for clients, and more.
  • Interface with clients (on Zoom and Slack), who can be founders of or marketing execs at fast-growing startups, to understand their concerns at a deep level and thinking on your feet to propose compelling solutions.
  • Propose impactful, out-of-the-box experiment ideas and interventions to improve performance, including changes to keywords, ads, bids, landing pages and more.
  • Execute on the experiment ideas and changes, doing everything necessary to bring the ideas to fruition, including writing copy, researching keywords, writing landing page copy, adjusting bid targets, and more.

Requirements and skills

  • 5+ years experience with high scale Google Ads and Meta accounts (>$100k/mo in total spend).
  • Minimal switching between jobs has worked at each organizations for 2+ years at least.
  • Expert understanding of Google Ads and Meta, the different types of ad units, targeting options and various campaign setting and levers.
  • Excellent written communication skills, both written and live on Zoom.
  • Advanced quantitative skills, including ability to run A/B tests using statistical best practices.
  • Excellent ability to be scrappy and propose experiments that will move the needle across a variety of situations.
