HireNow Staffing is partnering with a premier Am Law 100 firm to identify a seasoned Media & Entertainment Litigation Associate for its highly regarded practice group. This opportunity is best suited for a litigator who values precision, intellectual rigor, and teamwork—and who wants exposure to complex, high-profile disputes at the intersection of entertainment, media, and emerging technology.
This is a selective search. Candidates must meet the stated experience, academic, and firm pedigree requirements to be considered for interview.
The Opportunity
This role offers meaningful, hands-on litigation experience within a collaborative and high-performing team. Associates are not siloed or limited to narrow tasks; instead, they are entrusted with real responsibility and direct partner interaction early in their tenure.
The practice advises and represents leading companies and creators across film, television, digital platforms, and technology-driven content. Matters often involve cutting-edge legal questions, including those arising from new distribution models, digital media, and artificial intelligence.

  • Represent prominent clients across the entertainment, media, and technology sectors
  • Litigate complex disputes involving film, television, digital content, and emerging technologies
  • Take a substantive role in all phases of litigation, including:
    • Fact development and discovery strategy
    • Drafting and arguing motions
    • Case assessment and litigation planning
  • Collaborate closely with partners on case strategy and client counseling
  • Interface directly with clients, developing trusted-advisor skills
  • Contribute to matters that shape how content and media are created, distributed, and protected

  • Stellar academic credentials
  • Demonstrated strength in legal research, analysis, and writing
  • Active California bar admission
