About the Opportunity
HireNow Staffing is partnering with a rapidly expanding software innovator to identify a seasoned Forward Deployed Engineer who can lead enterprise customer deployments end-to-end. This is not a routine implementation role it is a deeply technical, customer-facing position for engineers who are energized by complexity, thrive under pressure, and excel at building trust with demanding enterprise stakeholders.
You will embed directly with customer engineering teams, turning proof-of-concept pilots into production-ready, high-performance environments. You'll be the architect, the troubleshooter, the communicator, and the technical voice customers rely on. Key Responsibilities
Lead End-to-End Customer Deployments

Own the full lifecycle of onboarding: environment setup, access control, configuration, system validation, and production launch.

Confirm performance benchmarks, platform behavior, and data integrity through hands-on monitoring and testing.

Debug complex issues across integrations, APIs, logs, infrastructure, and edge-case customer environments.
Engineer Solutions That Drive Adoption

Build lightweight tools, scripts, and operational shortcuts to streamline deployments and reduce future friction.

Review technical metrics and system reports to identify anomalies, optimization opportunities, and scaling concerns.

Participate in customer technical reviews, architecture discussions, and security assessments.
Be the Technical Face of the Company

Join sales calls, demos, and technical evaluations to validate feasibility and accelerate deal momentum.

Serve as the trusted advisor for enterprise engineers and executives communicating clearly, confidently, and with authority.

Build relationships across customer teams to ensure long-term success and seamless handoffs post-launch.
Strengthen Internal Product & Engineering Alignment

Partner with Engineering on self-hosted deployments, custom connectors, and complex integration paths.

Provide fast, structured feedback to Product on recurring issues, deployment patterns, and unmet enterprise needs.

Create documentation, best practices, and scalable implementation playbooks that elevate the entire team's effectiveness.
Preferred Qualifications Critical for Interview Selection
Candidates who stand out will demonstrate most of the following:
Technical Expertise

4+ years in a deeply technical role within a high-growth or top-tier tech environment (software, data, infra, or AI preferred).

Proficiency in reading, reviewing, and interpreting complex logs, metrics, system outputs, and technical diagnostics.

Comfort writing lightweight tools, scripts, or automations (Python, JS, Bash, or similar).

Strong familiarity with modern cloud infrastructure:

AWS (IAM, EC2, networking, scaling, observability)

Monitoring tools and observability stacks

API debugging and integration troubleshooting

Customer-Facing Excellence

Prior experience in Forward Deployed Engineering, Solutions Engineering, Technical Consulting, or similar hybrid roles.

Confidence and presence when working directly with enterprise buyers, engineering leaders, and executive stakeholders.
