Compensation: $115,000 – $140,000 base salary (based on experience)

The Opportunity
HireNow Staffing is acting as a direct placement partner for a premier commercial general contractor operating across the Southeast. The firm is known for delivering complex healthcare and large-scale commercial builds with an emphasis on planning, disciplined execution, and long-term client partnerships.
The company is seeking an experienced Project Manager to support and lead multiple active healthcare construction projects in the Charleston market. This role is ideal for a proactive builder who can balance budget ownership, scheduling rigor, subcontractor coordination, and client-facing professionalism in a fast-moving environment.
This is not a purely administrative PM role—this position requires real ownership, accountability, and the ability to drive projects forward alongside strong field leadership.
Position Summary
The Project Manager is responsible for overseeing project planning, cost management, documentation, and coordination across multiple healthcare builds. You will work closely with Superintendents, subcontractors, internal leadership, and client stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities
Candidates will be considered for interview based on demonstrated ability to:
  • Own project planning, budgeting, scheduling, and cost control from preconstruction through closeout
  • Manage reporting, documentation, project tracking, and compliance requirements across multiple active jobs
  • Partner closely with Superintendents and onsite field teams to maintain alignment between schedule and execution
  • Coordinate subcontractors, consultants, and vendors to ensure timely delivery and scope accountability
  • Lead change order processes, including pricing reviews, documentation, and stakeholder communication
  • Support risk management efforts by identifying project challenges early and driving resolution
  • Maintain clear, professional communication with clients, inspectors, and internal stakeholders
  • Ensure project controls, systems, and processes are followed consistently across all workstreams
Required Qualifications (Non-Negotiable)
These qualifications are mandatory. Candidates who do not meet all requirements will not be considered.
  • 2–5 years of project management experience within commercial construction
  • Strong budgeting, scheduling, cost tracking, and reporting experience on complex projects
  • Proven ability to coordinate multiple subcontractors and project stakeholders effectively
  • Ability to work fully onsite in Charleston, SC and commute reliably to surrounding project sites
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills, with client-facing professionalism
  • Demonstrated execution discipline and project ownership mindset
