Schedule: Monday–Friday (Project-based hours as required)
Employment Type: Full-Time | Permanent
Compensation: $105,000 – $165,000 (based on experience)
Bonus: Performance-based bonus opportunities available
The Opportunity
HireNow Staffing is acting as a direct placement partner for a premier commercial general contractor operating throughout the Southeast. The firm is widely respected for delivering complex, highly regulated healthcare and commercial construction projects with a strong emphasis on safety, quality execution, and long-term client trust.
The contractor is seeking a seasoned Superintendent to lead field operations for a major ground-up hospital project in Bluffton, South Carolina, scheduled to mobilize in June/July 2026.
This role is ideal for a jobsite leader who thrives in large-scale builds, commands subcontractor coordination with confidence, and understands the disciplined execution required for hospital construction.
Position Summary
The Superintendent will serve as the primary onsite leader responsible for end-to-end field execution. From early planning through project delivery, you will own schedule integrity, safety enforcement, quality outcomes, subcontractor accountability, and client-facing execution.
This is a high-visibility leadership opportunity on a marquee healthcare project with long-term growth potential.
Key Responsibilities
Candidates will be considered for interview based on demonstrated ability to:

Lead all onsite field operations for a ground-up hospital construction project beginning mid-2026

Direct daily scheduling, trade sequencing, and subcontractor coordination to keep work progressing efficiently

Enforce jobsite safety standards, regulatory compliance, and hospital-grade quality control

Partner closely with Project Management, design teams, engineers, and leadership to align execution with plan

Maintain accountability for milestone delivery, field productivity, and issue resolution

Proactively identify risks, solve problems early, and keep projects moving forward without constant direction

Serve as the primary onsite point of communication for clients, inspectors, and key stakeholders

Uphold strong documentation and reporting practices in a highly regulated construction environment
Required Qualifications (Non-Negotiable)
These qualifications are mandatory. Candidates who do not meet all requirements will not be considered.

5–10 years of Superintendent experience in commercial construction

Proven ability to lead field teams and manage subcontractors independently

Strong organizational discipline, communication, and execution reliability

Ability to work fully onsite in Bluffton, SC and commute reliably to the jobsite

Capability to begin immediately or participate in early ramp-up ahead of the mid-2026 mobilization

Demonstrated job stability and long-term ownership in prior roles
