Compensation: $105,000 – $165,000 (based on experience)

The Opportunity
HireNow Staffing is acting as a direct placement partner for a premier commercial general contractor operating throughout the Southeast. The firm is recognized for delivering complex healthcare and large-scale commercial builds with an uncompromising focus on safety, quality execution, and long-term client partnerships.
The contractor is seeking a seasoned Superintendent to oversee multiple active healthcare construction projects across Charleston and surrounding areas. This role requires a proven field leader who can manage competing site demands, maintain schedule discipline, and drive consistent execution across regulated healthcare environments.
This is not a single-project role—it is a leadership opportunity for someone trusted to operate with autonomy, accountability, and professionalism across multiple sites.
Position Summary
The Superintendent will lead day-to-day field operations across several healthcare projects, serving as the central point of accountability for jobsite safety, quality standards, subcontractor performance, and milestone delivery.
You will partner closely with Project Managers and senior leadership to ensure each project progresses efficiently, meets compliance expectations, and reflects hospital-grade execution standards.
Key Responsibilities
Candidates will be considered for interview based on demonstrated ability to:

Lead onsite execution across multiple healthcare construction projects in the Charleston market

Direct daily field operations, trade sequencing, subcontractor coordination, and schedule adherence

Enforce safety protocols, quality control standards, and regulatory compliance across all job sites

Monitor field productivity and proactively resolve issues before they impact timelines or budgets

Collaborate closely with Project Management teams to align schedules, cost controls, and milestone delivery

Maintain clear communication with clients, inspectors, vendors, and internal stakeholders
-
Ensure each project meets performance expectations through disciplined execution and strong field leadership

Serve as a reliable, consistent onsite presence representing the company's standards and professionalism
Required Qualifications (Non-Negotiable)
These qualifications are mandatory. Candidates who do not meet all requirements will not be considered.

5–10 years of Superintendent experience in commercial construction

Proven ability to independently lead field teams and manage subcontractors across active job sites

Strong organizational discipline and the ability to coordinate multiple priorities simultaneously

Ability to work fully onsite in Charleston, SC and commute reliably to surrounding project sites

Commitment to safety enforcement, quality accountability, and execution ownership

Ability to start immediately or participate in early project ramp-up

Demonstrated job stability and long-term performance in prior roles
Preferred Qualifications (Standout Differentiators)
