Role Overview
Anticipated responsibilities include:
- Coordinate daily hospital pharmacy operations and support safe, efficient medication services.
- Lead pharmacy personnel through workflow improvements and operational changes.
- Support adherence to applicable sterile compounding requirements and medication safety practices.
- Collaborate with clinical and operational teams to address medication-use concerns.
- Coach staff, communicate expectations, and support consistent team performance.
- Identify operational problems and help implement practical improvements.

Required Qualifications
- Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) or Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy from an accredited institution.
- Completion of a PGY1 or PGY2 Health-System Pharmacy Administration residency.
- Current Utah pharmacist licensure or eligibility for licensure.
- Recent hospital pharmacy experience meeting the employer's stated 3–5-year minimum experience requirement, including progressive leadership or supervisory responsibilities.
- Demonstrated expertise in sterile compounding regulations and medication safety practices.
- BLS certification; required timing and accepted provider to be confirmed.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Demonstrated success leading teams through operational change.
