Location: Onsite – Coppell, Texas
Compensation: $66,000 – $86,000 base salary
Additional Pay:

10% manager incentive bonus

10% shift differential

Weekend incentive: 12 hours paid at $30/hour for Saturday/Sunday work
Schedule:

Monday–Friday

Off-peak: 6:00 PM – 2:30 AM

On-peak: 6:00 PM – 6:00 AM, including some weekends

Supervisors should expect 10–12-hour shifts during the first 7–10 days of each month

The Opportunity
HireNow Staffing is partnering with a leader in the Financial Technology and Services industry to identify a seasoned and skilled Supervisor, Production Maintenance to support a fast-paced, high-volume production operation.
This role is designed for a hands-on leader who understands both people and equipment. You will oversee maintenance operations, guide technicians through complex repairs, and ensure production systems remain reliable, efficient, and compliant—especially during high-demand periods.
Candidates must demonstrate the ability to lead maintenance teams in a time-sensitive environment to be considered for interview.
Key Responsibilities
Qualified candidates must be able to perform the following responsibilities at a high level:

Provide daily direction, coaching, and technical guidance to production mechanics and technicians

Monitor work in progress to ensure uninterrupted production flow and timely completion of repairs
-
Oversee and maintain preventive maintenance programs, ensuring schedules are consistently met
-
Manage parts inventory, including vendor selection, cost controls, and ordering
-
Track and improve machine throughput, uptime, and overall production efficiency
-
Review daily throughput and downtime reports and translate findings into actionable improvements
-
Meet or exceed Cost Per Unit (CPU) targets, managing labor, overtime, and inventory expenses
-
Coach, develop, motivate, and discipline team members while maintaining strong engagement and accountability
-
Maintain personnel records and ensure accurate completion of administrative documentation
-
Communicate daily with senior leadership regarding staffing, performance, scheduling, and operational priorities
-
Manage a span of control that includes approximately 6–8 full-time associates, 6–8 temporary employees, and all assigned production equipment

Assume departmental leadership responsibilities in the absence of the Department Manager
-
Stay current on evolving production technologies and maintenance best practices
-
Perform additional operational or leadership duties as required
Required Qualifications
Candidates must meet all of the following to be considered:
-
Associates degree or completion of a Technical/Trade School program
-
5–7 years of hands-on experience operating and repairing production equipment in a high-volume environment
-
Minimum 3 years of supervisory experience in production, manufacturing, or maintenance operations
-
Proven expertise with insertion and bindery equipment
-
Strong background in electronics and electrical circuit troubleshooting
-
Working knowledge of reporting tools such as Jet/IQ
-
Proficiency with Microsoft Office
-
Strong functional and technical aptitude
-
Excellent organizational skills with high attention to detail
-
Clear, effective verbal and written communication skills
-
Ability to manage competing priorities and perform under pressure in time-sensitive situations

Advanced electrical and electronics repair experience

Demonstrated success leading maintenance teams during peak production cycles
