The Customer Relationship Associate (CRA) will support customer growth initiatives while delivering transportation solutions across multiple freight modes. This role combines account development, transportation sales, and operational collaboration to ensure customers receive exceptional service and long-term value.
Business Development & Customer Management
- Generate new freight opportunities and cultivate long-term customer relationships.
- Manage and expand an active portfolio of transportation accounts.
- Develop growth strategies to increase business with existing customers.
- Identify opportunities for account penetration and revenue growth.
- Maintain high levels of responsiveness and customer satisfaction.
- Monitor transportation markets and identify emerging opportunities.
Transportation Solutions & Freight Execution
- Support Dry Van, Reefer, FTL, Intermodal, Drayage, Specialized Equipment, Over-Dimensional, and Multi-Modal transportation services.
- Develop pricing strategies that balance competitiveness and profitability.
- Collaborate with Carrier Development and Operations teams to support execution.
- Maintain strong carrier relationships and service standards.
- Resolve service interruptions, claims, and transportation challenges.
- Ensure customer expectations are consistently met.
Systems & Performance
- Utilize Transportation Management Systems (TMS) to maintain accurate records.
- Monitor account activity and performance metrics.
- Maintain documentation and customer information within company systems.
- Support process improvements and operational efficiencies.
- Collaborate with internal teams to maximize service quality.

Location

Compensation
- Base Salary: $60,000 – $125,000

Required Qualifications
- Minimum five years of experience within a non-asset freight brokerage environment.
- Proven business development, transportation sales, or account management experience.
- Strong understanding of freight pricing and transportation execution.
- Experience supporting FTL, Dry Van, Reefer, Specialized Freight, Intermodal, and Over-Dimensional shipments.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship management skills.
- Experience utilizing Transportation Management Systems (TMS).
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
- Stable employment history.
- U.S. citizen authorized to work in the United States.
