HireNow Staffing is actively seeking an experienced and autonomous Nurse Practitioner to join an established urgent care practice in Alamogordo, New Mexico. What You'll Do

• Provide frontline evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment for walk-in patients presenting with acute conditions, minor injuries, and common illnesses

• Work independently to assess and treat patients of all ages within your scope of practice

• Collaborate with supervising physicians when escalation is necessary

• Perform procedures including suturing, splinting, abscess drainage, wound care, and other minor interventions

• Order and interpret diagnostic tests (labs, imaging, etc.)

• Educate patients and caregivers on treatment plans, medication use, and prevention strategies

• Document visits thoroughly and accurately in the clinics EMR

• Act as a clinical resource and help shape a patient-first culture in the clinic

Who You Are

Required:

• Master's degree (or higher) in Nursing from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program

• Current Nurse Practitioner (NP) license in New Mexico

• At least 1 year of urgent care, walk-in clinic, or high-volume outpatient experience

• Confident in handling a variety of acute presentations and procedures

• Adaptable, team-focused, and driven by clinical excellence

Preferred:

• Full professional fluency in Spanish (written and spoken)

• Previous experience with underserved or rural populations

• Interest in community education and preventative health

Other Details

• Clinic hours: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM

• May require coverage one Saturday per month

• For out-of-state applicants, family or key decision-makers must attend the interview with the candidate (relocation discussions are taken seriously)

• No night shifts, on-call, or hospital rounds required
