HireNow Staffing is seeking an experienced Senior Structural Project Engineer to help drive innovative engineering solutions for high-profile commercial, institutional, and healthcare buildings across California. What You'll Be Doing:

  • Lead design efforts for large-scale projects featuring steel and concrete (Type I) construction

  • Collaborate with architects, consultants, and BIM designers to ensure efficient coordination

  • Oversee and perform structural calculations, detailing, and system development

  • Support seismic evaluations and retrofitting projects, including ASCE 41 compliance

  • Attend client and project meetings to present solutions and guide execution

  • Provide mentorship and technical support to junior engineers on the team

  • Ensure all designs meet current building codes and project specifications

Who We're Looking For:

  • 7-10+ years of building design experience in the U.S.

  • Master's degree in Structural Engineering from an accredited U.S. university

  • Strong background with concrete and steel structures (Type I construction)

  • Solid understanding of seismic design principles and California codes

  • Experience across a range of structural materials and systems

  • Proficiency coordinating with architectural and engineering teams

  • U.S. work authorization required

Preferred (but not required):

  • California SE License

  • Familiarity with DSA and HCAI/OSHPD standards

  • Background in healthcare, aviation, institutional, or high-rise projects

  • Team leadership and mentoring experience

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Base salary: $107,120 - $115,440, depending on experience
