Director of Surgery Services

HireNow Staffing is in search of an experienced and committed Director of Surgery Services to head our client's surgical department in Fort Mohave, AZ.  The ideal candidate should have robust leadership abilities, comprehensive knowledge of surgery, and a dedication to providing top-notch patient care.

Location: Fort Mohave, AZ

Salary: $118,000.00 - $150,000.00

Signing Bonus: Yes 

Bonus Description: $20,000 sign-on bonus and $5,000 Relocation for a 3-year commitment

Relocation Package: Full 

Key Responsibilities:

• Leadership: Oversee the daily operations of the surgical services department, ensuring efficiency and high standards of care.
• Staff Management: Recruit, train, and manage a team of surgical professionals, fostering a collaborative and supportive environment.
• Operational Excellence: Develop and implement policies and procedures to enhance departmental performance and patient outcomes.
• Budget Management: Prepare and manage the surgical services budget, ensuring cost-effective operations while maintaining quality care.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelors degree in Nursing, Healthcare Administration, or a related field; Masters degree preferred.
• Master's degree preferred
• Experience: Minimum of 5 years of leadership experience in surgical services or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years as director of Surgical Services in a critical care hospital required
• Licensure: Current RN license in the state of Arizona or and/or Compact State Registered Nurse required
• Skills: Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills, with a proven track record of managing and improving surgical services.
• Certifications: Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) American Heart Association required upon hire
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) American Heart Association required upon hire
• Moderate Sedation Certification preferred
