Are you an experienced maintenance technician with a knack for solving complex mechanical and electrical issues? HireNow Staffing is working with an industry-leading manufacturer to hire a CNC Maintenance Repair Technician for their state-of-the-art Syracuse facility.

What You'll Do

• Perform in-depth troubleshooting, disassembly, and repairs on CNC machinery

• Diagnose both electrical and mechanical failures using schematics, ladder logic, and diagnostic tools

• Replace and rebuild critical components to restore equipment to full operation

• Conduct performance tests and calibrations to meet production standards

• Read and interpret circuit diagrams and motor control schematics to trace complex issues

• Tackle machine cycle faults, printed circuit board problems, and system reprogramming when needed

• Maintain accurate repair documentation and report unusual equipment behavior to supervisors

• Take on additional mechanical or electrical repair tasks as needed across the shop floor

What We're Looking For

• High school diploma or equivalent (required)

• At least 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment working on CNC, electrical, or mechanical systems

• Solid understanding of industrial schematics, ladder logic, and motor controls

• Hands-on experience maintaining and repairing CNC equipment

• Ability to work second shift (2:30 PM - 11:00 PM)

• Must live within 50 miles of Syracuse, NY or be open to relocation assistance

• Authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship

• Associate degree in electronics or equivalent military experience

• Hydraulic system troubleshooting knowledge

• 2-5 years' experience in a maintenance role within a high-volume production setting

• Machining background or previous CNC technician experience
