Salary: $73,000.00 - $100,000.00

JOB SUMMARY

The Director of Womens Services will oversee and manage the womens health services department, ensuring the delivery of high-quality care and the effective management of departmental resources. This role involves strategic planning, staff supervision, and the implementation of best practices in womens health.

Key Responsibilities

  • Leadership & Management:

    • Direct and manage all operations within the Womens Services department.
    • Supervise and provide guidance to clinical and administrative staff.
    • Develop and implement policies and procedures to enhance patient care and departmental efficiency.
  • Quality & Compliance:

    • Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and standards, including those specific to womens health.
    • Monitor and improve quality of care through continuous evaluation and feedback.
    • Maintain records and documentation related to patient care and departmental operations.
  • Strategic Planning:

    • Collaborate with senior management to develop strategic plans for the department.
    • Analyze and report on departmental performance and patient outcomes.
    • Identify areas for improvement and implement strategies to address them.
  • Patient Care:

    • Ensure that all patients receive compassionate and comprehensive care.
    • Address patient concerns and resolve issues as they arise.
  • Education & Training:

    • Provide ongoing education and training to staff on best practices and new developments in womens health.
    • Promote a culture of continuous learning and professional development.

Qualifications

  • Education:

    • Associate degree required; Bachelors degree preferred in Nursing, Healthcare Administration, or a related field.
  • Licensure & Certification:

    • Current RN license for Kentucky.
    • AWHONN (Association of Women's Health, Obstetric and Neonatal Nurses) certification required.
  • Experience:

    • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a managerial role within a womens health or related department.
    • Demonstrated experience in leadership, strategic planning, and quality improvement.
  • Skills & Attributes:

    • Strong leadership and organizational skills.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
    • Proficient in healthcare management software and tools.
