Salary: $73,000.00 - $100,000.00

JOB SUMMARY
The Director of Womens Services will oversee and manage the womens health services department, ensuring the delivery of high-quality care and the effective management of departmental resources. This role involves strategic planning, staff supervision, and the implementation of best practices in womens health.
Key Responsibilities
- Leadership & Management:
- Direct and manage all operations within the Womens Services department.
- Supervise and provide guidance to clinical and administrative staff.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to enhance patient care and departmental efficiency.
- Quality & Compliance:
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and standards, including those specific to womens health.
- Monitor and improve quality of care through continuous evaluation and feedback.
- Maintain records and documentation related to patient care and departmental operations.
- Strategic Planning:
- Collaborate with senior management to develop strategic plans for the department.
- Analyze and report on departmental performance and patient outcomes.
- Identify areas for improvement and implement strategies to address them.
- Patient Care:
- Ensure that all patients receive compassionate and comprehensive care.
- Address patient concerns and resolve issues as they arise.
- Education & Training:
- Provide ongoing education and training to staff on best practices and new developments in womens health.
- Promote a culture of continuous learning and professional development.
Qualifications
- Education:
- Associate degree required; Bachelors degree preferred in Nursing, Healthcare Administration, or a related field.
- Licensure & Certification:
- Current RN license for Kentucky.
- AWHONN (Association of Women's Health, Obstetric and Neonatal Nurses) certification required.
- Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a managerial role within a womens health or related department.
- Demonstrated experience in leadership, strategic planning, and quality improvement.
- Skills & Attributes:
- Strong leadership and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient in healthcare management software and tools.
