HireNow Staffing is actively recruiting on behalf of a leading national labor and employment law firm recognized as one of the oldest and largest firms focused solely on representing management. We're seeking a skilled Employment Counsel to join their fully remote legal team.

Position Summary:

This role offers a flexible, remote-first legal practice for a seasoned employment attorney who thrives on substantive legal work over business development. You'll work on a steady flow of employment litigation, administrative agency charges, and EPLI-related matters, all while collaborating with respected partners and experienced legal teams.

The ideal candidate brings at least 5 years of experience in employment litigation and administrative matters, and is seeking long-term stability, work-life balance, and the ability to focus exclusively on legal execution not business development.

What You'll Do:

  • Respond to administrative agency charges, attorney demand letters, and complex employment claims

  • Provide legal counsel and manage litigation strategy and execution (no in-person appearances required)

  • Collaborate with senior attorneys and legal teams to deliver high-quality legal work

  • Support a broad client portfolio, including EPLI-covered employers

  • Meet achievable billable hour targets while maintaining quality and precision

Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • JD from an ABA-accredited law school

  • 5+ years of employment law and litigation experience

  • Skilled in handling administrative proceedings and employment litigation in both state and federal courts

  • Licensed and in good standing in at least one U.S. jurisdiction

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Law firm background preferred

  • Experience with EPLI-covered matters

  • California Bar admission is a plus
