HireNow Staffing is partnering with a prestigious Am Law 200 firm to identify a talented Entertainment Transactions Associate with 3 - 6 years of corporate transactional experience ideally with a focus on the entertainment industry.

Position Overview:

This is a dynamic opportunity for a mid-level attorney looking to grow within a collaborative, fast-paced, and high-profile entertainment law practice. The associate will work on a variety of corporate and IP transactions, with a focus on entertainment financing, catalog sales, content distribution, and talent/production agreements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Draft, negotiate, and manage entertainment-related agreements, including catalog sales, music rights, talent contracts, and production/distribution deals

• Advise clients across film, television, music, digital media, and emerging content platforms

• Support complex transactions such as M&A, IP licensing, and entertainment financing

• Partner with legal teams, consultants, and business stakeholders on deal strategy and execution

• Deliver insightful, business-oriented guidance on IP and media law matters

• Contribute to firm-wide initiatives aimed at strengthening entertainment and media capabilities

Qualifications:

• JD from an ABA-accredited law school

• 3 - 6 years of experience in corporate transactions, with exposure to entertainment, M&A, or IP law

• Prior experience with catalog sales or music rights acquisitions is highly preferred

• Excellent drafting, analytical, and negotiation skills

• Demonstrated ability to handle multiple matters and deadlines with precision

• Licensed and in good standing in New York or California

• Strong academic background and stable work history required (no frequent job changes or contract/temp roles)
