What You'll Do
  • Assist in reviewing soil data, subsurface conditions, and geological information for active projects
  • Support foundation design recommendations under the guidance of licensed engineers
  • Join in on soil classification, lab testing, and data analysis
  • Participate in site visits and field investigations (weather-ready and boots-on)
  • Draft and contribute to technical reports and engineering memos
  • Communicate with team members, clients, and external stakeholders
  • Learn the full lifecycle of geotechnical reporting and project delivery
You're a Great Fit If You Have:
Bachelor's degree in civil or Geotechnical Engineering (or related technical field)
Strong interest or coursework in geotechnical concepts
Solid written and verbal communication skills
The drive to learn and grow especially through hands-on experience
Willingness to relocate to Fort Wayne, Indiana
Ability to pass a criminal background check
Bonus Points If You Also Have:
Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification or are working toward it
Internship, lab, or co-op experience in civil/geotechnical work
Certifications in soils, concrete, or materials testing
A strong desire to work in a small-team environment with real responsibilities
