Salary: $270K - $315K + Bonus Eligible

HireNow Staffing is actively recruiting on behalf of a prestigious Am Law 100 firm seeking a mid-level Commercial Litigation Associate to join its Litigation & Dispute Resolution practice in Washington, D.C. This is an exciting opportunity to work on high-stakes insurance coverage litigation, including emerging legal issues involving environmental and product liability claims.

Ideal candidates will be 2019 - 2021 law school graduates with 4 - 6 years of complex litigation experience, preferably from an Am Law 100/200 or similarly respected firm.

Key Responsibilities:

• Draft complex litigation documents, including pleadings, motions, and legal memoranda

• Manage full case lifecycle from inception through trial and appeal

• Conduct in-depth legal research and strategic analysis

• Oversee discovery, including depositions and written discovery

• Communicate and collaborate with clients, experts, witnesses, and opposing counsel

• Analyze and advise on insurance coverage and extra-contractual issues, including coverage opinions

Candidate Requirements:

• 4 - 6 years of complex litigation experience (insurance coverage preferred but not required)

• Licensed and in good standing with the D.C. Bar

• Demonstrated interest in insurance law, environmental liability, and risk analysis

• Exceptional writing, analytical, and oral advocacy skills

• Prior experience in Federal District or Appellate clerkships is a plus

• Strong case management skills and a commitment to client service

• Must have a stable work history, strong academic background, and large-firm experience
