About the Role
HireNow Staffing is seeking a compassionate and confident Nurse Practitioner to support a growing outpatient neurology program based in Alamogordo, New Mexico. This is a unique opportunity for an advanced practice provider who is eager to deepen their knowledge of neurological conditions while making a meaningful impact in a community where specialized care is deeply valued.
You'll work alongside experienced physicians and healthcare professionals to assess, diagnose, and manage a wide range of neurological disorders in a patient-first environment. Ideal candidates bring strong clinical judgment, a steady hand under pressure, and a desire to serve patients across all ages.
What You'll Do

Conduct thorough neurological assessments and evaluate symptoms such as migraines, seizures, neuropathies, movement disorders, memory issues, and post-stroke complications

Collaborate with supervising neurologist and care team to establish and monitor treatment plans

Interpret diagnostic imaging and lab results, adjusting care plans as needed

Provide ongoing management for chronic neurological conditions including Parkinsons, epilepsy, multiple sclerosis, and dementia

Educate patients and their families on diagnoses, treatment options, and lifestyle modifications

Accurately document patient encounters and clinical decisions in the EMR system

Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and contribute to ongoing care improvement initiatives
Who Were Looking For
Required:

Master's degree (or higher) in Nursing from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program

Active NP license in New Mexico

Minimum 1 year of urgent care or outpatient clinical experience

Strong diagnostic skills and comfort with neurological casework

Excellent interpersonal communication and patient education skills
Preferred:

Full professional fluency in Spanish (verbal and written)

Previous exposure to neurology or interest in pursuing specialized training

Familiarity with rural healthcare or underserved patient populations
