What You'll Be Doing

  • Deliver comprehensive care in an outpatient internal medicine setting with urgent care responsibilities

  • Diagnose and treat common conditions including respiratory illness, minor injuries, infections, and chronic conditions

  • Collaborate with other providers while maintaining independent clinical decision-making

  • Order and interpret diagnostic tests and prescribe medications

  • Provide patient education, follow-up care, and referrals when needed

  • Document all clinical encounters accurately in the EMR system

  • Participate in occasional Saturday clinics as needed (approximately once per month)

What You'll Bring

Required:

  • Master's degree or higher from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program

  • Valid and unrestricted New Mexico NP license

  • Minimum 1 year of urgent care or fast-paced outpatient experience

  • Excellent interpersonal and clinical communication skills

  • Commitment to delivering patient-centered care

Preferred:

  • Full professional fluency in Spanish (reading, writing, and speaking)

  • Strong comfort level with culturally diverse patient populations

  • Candidates currently residing in or willing to relocate to southern New Mexico
