HireNow Staffing is actively recruiting on behalf of a prestigious Am Law 100 client seeking an experienced International Trade & Supply Chain Associate. This is a remote opportunity with a preference for attorneys based in Denver, Oakland, Los Angeles, or Washington, DC.

About the Role:

This position offers the opportunity to join a top-ranked legal team within the firm's Technology, Manufacturing & Transportation business unit, focusing on regulatory compliance and legal advisory for clients in the transportation, cargo, logistics, and maritime sectors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Advise on international trade and supply chain regulatory issues, including licensing and compliance

  • Support shippers, motor carriers, railroads, and ocean transport companies on a range of transportation law matters

  • Manage interactions with the Federal Maritime Commission (FMC) and other regulatory bodies

  • Collaborate with clients on compliance strategies, risk mitigation, and regulatory filings

  • Stay ahead of developments in international trade law and contribute to legal strategy development

  • Work cross-functionally with internal legal teams and external stakeholders

Candidate Qualifications:

  • JD from an accredited law school with at least 4 years of relevant legal experience

  • Substantial experience in transportation law, particularly within the maritime and logistics industries

  • Deep understanding of Federal Maritime Commission (FMC) regulations and maritime compliance

  • Active bar license in the state corresponding to your location or the firm office you are applying to

  • Exceptional legal research, communication, and writing skills

  • Ability to handle complex regulatory matters independently and effectively manage multiple deadlines

Preferred Attributes:

  • Experience representing supply chain stakeholders such as shipping companies, railroads, and freight providers

  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to deliver practical, business-aligned legal counsel

  • Demonstrated commitment to client service excellence and collaboration
