HireNow Staffing is actively recruiting on behalf of a prestigious Am Law 100 client seeking an experienced International Trade & Supply Chain Associate. This is a remote opportunity with a preference for attorneys based in Denver, Oakland, Los Angeles, or Washington, DC.
About the Role:
This position offers the opportunity to join a top-ranked legal team within the firm's Technology, Manufacturing & Transportation business unit, focusing on regulatory compliance and legal advisory for clients in the transportation, cargo, logistics, and maritime sectors.
Key Responsibilities:

Advise on international trade and supply chain regulatory issues, including licensing and compliance

Support shippers, motor carriers, railroads, and ocean transport companies on a range of transportation law matters

Manage interactions with the Federal Maritime Commission (FMC) and other regulatory bodies

Collaborate with clients on compliance strategies, risk mitigation, and regulatory filings
-
Stay ahead of developments in international trade law and contribute to legal strategy development

Work cross-functionally with internal legal teams and external stakeholders
Candidate Qualifications:

JD from an accredited law school with at least 4 years of relevant legal experience

Substantial experience in transportation law, particularly within the maritime and logistics industries

Deep understanding of Federal Maritime Commission (FMC) regulations and maritime compliance

Active bar license in the state corresponding to your location or the firm office you are applying to

Exceptional legal research, communication, and writing skills

Ability to handle complex regulatory matters independently and effectively manage multiple deadlines
