Overview

HireNow Staffing is partnering with a top-tier national law firm to identify an experienced corporate attorney with deep knowledge in mining and natural resources law. This role offers a chance to work alongside an elite team of industry-focused attorneys advising clients on large-scale transactions, strategic partnerships, and regulatory compliance in the mining sector.

What You'll Do

• Advise mining clients on sophisticated transactional matters, including M&A, joint ventures, and project development

• Navigate federal, state, and international regulatory frameworks related to natural resources and environmental impact

• Structure and negotiate agreements involving mineral rights, operations, and cross-border investments

• Collaborate across multidisciplinary teams to ensure cohesive legal strategy and seamless client experience

• Help shape internal firm initiatives within the Energy & Natural Resources practice group

Who Were Looking For

Must-Haves:

• 7+ years of corporate law experience with a focus in mining, energy, or natural resources

• Proven track record advising mining sector clients in both transactional and regulatory matters

• Active license and good standing with the Bar in the office location you're applying to (Denver, Oakland, LA, or DC)

• Demonstrated ability to manage high-stakes projects, deadlines, and client relationships independently

• Strong academic credentials and polished interpersonal communication skills

Preferred:

• Deep familiarity with mining regulations, permitting processes, land use, and ESG-related considerations

• Background in advising global mining clients or those with cross-border operations

• A thoughtful, community-minded perspective and leadership presence within the legal or business community
