HireNow Staffing is actively recruiting a Senior Mobility & Active Aging Physical Therapist for one of our valued client partners in the Los Angeles, California metropolitan area.
This full-time opportunity offers Physical Therapists a refreshing alternative to traditional high-volume rehabilitation environments. The position focuses on helping older adults maintain mobility, independence, functional strength, and quality of life through individualized restorative and rehabilitative therapy.
With lower patient volumes and a collaborative interdisciplinary care model, the Physical Therapist can develop meaningful relationships with patients while providing thoughtful, outcomes-focused care.
The position offers compensation of $115,000–$136,000 annually, a predictable Monday–Friday schedule, comprehensive benefits, 401(k) matching, and an exceptional PTO package providing approximately seven weeks off.
Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate the mobility, strength, balance, functional abilities, and rehabilitation needs of older adult patients.
- Develop individualized physical therapy plans designed to improve mobility, independence, safety, and overall function.
- Deliver restorative and rehabilitative physical therapy services to an elderly patient population.
- Establish measurable treatment goals based on each patient's clinical condition and functional objectives.
- Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans based on outcomes and changing needs.
- Help patients improve strength, flexibility, balance, endurance, coordination, and functional movement.
- Support fall prevention and safe mobility strategies.
- Educate patients and caregivers regarding therapeutic exercises, mobility techniques, safety, and continued functional improvement.
- Collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, rehabilitation professionals, and other members of the interdisciplinary care team.
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
- Participate in care planning and communicate patient progress to appropriate clinical stakeholders.
- Promote patient independence while maintaining appropriate safety and quality-of-care standards.
- Develop meaningful therapeutic relationships with seniors through consistent, patient-centered care.
Required Qualifications
- Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited educational program.
- Current or eligible California Physical Therapist licensure.
- Strong clinical assessment and treatment-planning capabilities.
- Ability to provide restorative and rehabilitative therapy to an older adult population.
- Strong understanding of mobility, balance, strengthening, functional movement, and rehabilitation principles.
- Excellent patient communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively within an interdisciplinary healthcare team.
- Strong documentation, organizational, and time-management skills.
- Commitment to helping older adults maintain independence and quality of life.
- Ability to work onsite within the Los Angeles metropolitan area.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience treating geriatric or senior populations.
- Experience within senior care, outpatient rehabilitation, community-based care, or comparable healthcare settings.
- Experience developing individualized mobility and fall-prevention programs.
- Strong background in functional rehabilitation and restorative therapy.
- Experience working within an interdisciplinary care model.

HireNow Package
Salary Range: $115,000–$136,000 annually
Employment Type: Full-Time
