Position Overview
HireNow Staffing is conducting a confidential search for an experienced Wealth Advisor to join a modern, technology-enabled wealth management platform designed to support independent advisors serving high-net-worth and ultra-high-net-worth clients.
This role is intended for established advisors who currently manage significant client relationships and are capable of independently advising, retaining, and expanding a portable book of business. The Wealth Advisor will deliver comprehensive financial planning, portfolio management, and strategic advisory services while operating with a high degree of autonomy and professional ownership.
Candidates must demonstrate long-term stability, strong client retention, and proven experience managing sophisticated client portfolios.
Key Responsibilities
Client Relationship Management & Advisory Leadership

Serve as the primary financial advisor for high-net-worth and ultra-high-net-worth clients.

Develop comprehensive financial plans aligned with each client's long-term financial objectives.

Provide guidance on investment management, retirement planning, estate strategies, tax efficiency, risk management, and wealth preservation.

Maintain ongoing relationships with clients through proactive portfolio reviews and strategic planning conversations.

Ensure consistent client satisfaction, retention, and trust.
Portfolio Management & Investment Strategy

Design and implement customized investment portfolios based on client objectives, risk tolerance, and time horizons.

Monitor client portfolios and recommend adjustments based on market conditions, financial goals, and lifecycle changes.

Apply disciplined asset allocation, diversification, and risk management strategies.

Deliver ongoing performance analysis and client reporting.
Business Development & Practice Growth

Maintain and transition an existing portable book of business.

Expand client relationships through referrals, networking, and strategic relationship management.

Identify opportunities to deepen relationships and increase assets under management.

Maintain strong client retention while responsibly growing the advisory practice.
Cross-Functional Collaboration & Strategic Contribution

Collaborate with internal specialists and external partners in tax, trust, estate, and insurance planning.

Participate in platform initiatives to enhance advisor workflows, client experience, and advisory delivery.

Mentor and support newer advisors when appropriate.

Provide input on advisory processes, client service improvements, and platform optimization.
Required Qualifications (Non-Negotiable)
Candidates must meet all of the following requirements to be considered:

Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Wealth Advisor, Financial Advisor, or Investment Advisor.

Active portable book of business with high-net-worth or ultra-high-net-worth clients.

Current securities licensing, including:

Series 65, OR
-
Series 7 and Series 66 (or equivalent).

Demonstrated experience managing client portfolios and providing comprehensive financial planning.

Proven experience advising clients with significant investable assets.

Strong client retention track record and relationship management skills.
-
Demonstrated employment stability with consistent tenure at prior firms.

Ability to operate independently while maintaining professional accountability.
Preferred Qualifications (Strongly Emphasized)
Candidates with the following qualifications will be given priority consideration:

Portable assets under management (AUM) of $25M or greater.

Experience advising clients with $1M+ in investable assets.

Background working within a Registered Investment Advisor (RIA), private wealth firm, or independent advisory platform.

Certified Financial Planner (CFP®), CFA®, or similar advanced professional designation.

Experience using financial planning and portfolio management software.

Experience advising clients on advanced planning topics such as estate planning, tax optimization, and generational wealth transfer.

Familiarity with fintech-enabled wealth management platforms.

Strong client acquisition, retention, and referral generation track record.
Ideal Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate is an established Wealth Advisor who currently manages meaningful client relationships and possesses a portable book of business. This individual demonstrates strong advisory judgment, consistent client retention, and the ability to operate independently while delivering comprehensive financial planning services.
Candidates must demonstrate long-term career stability, professional maturity, and strong ethical standards in client advisory work.
