Location: Remote – U.S.-Based
Compensation: $90,000 – $105,000 (salary) or $70–$80/hour
Additional Compensation: Equity

The Opportunity
HireNow Staffing is acting as a direct placement partner for a healthcare startup building a modern, technology-enabled virtual care platform. The organization is seeking experienced Telehealth Nurse Practitioners who are confident managing a wide range of clinical scenarios in a fully remote environment.
This role blends clinical autonomy with strong operational support. Providers deliver care through triage, asynchronous chat, and video visits, supported by rapid access to specialists, streamlined labs and imaging, and referral pathways that integrate with patients existing care networks.
This opportunity is best suited for clinicians who are comfortable with clinical judgment at scale, value patient-centered communication, and are energized by next-generation digital health models.
Key Responsibilities
Candidates will be considered for interview based on demonstrated ability to perform the following responsibilities at a high level:

Deliver high-quality, patient-centered care via telehealth modalities, including triage, chat-based consults, and video visits

Assess and manage varying levels of acuity, applying sound clinical judgment in a virtual setting

Develop and implement treatment plans, including prescribing medications, ordering labs and imaging, and coordinating referrals

Communicate clearly and compassionately with patients across written and video interactions

Collaborate with clinical leadership and interdisciplinary teams to ensure continuity and quality of care

Utilize digital health platforms efficiently while maintaining thorough, compliant clinical documentation
-
Contribute to continuous improvement of virtual care workflows and patient experience
Only candidates with substantial telehealth experience and demonstrated clinical maturity will be considered.
Required Qualifications (Non-Negotiable)
These qualifications are mandatory. Candidates who do not meet all requirements will not be considered for interview.

Clinical background in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine

Minimum of 6,240 practice hours (equivalent to 3 years of full-time clinical experience)

5–10 years of total clinical experience, including 4+ years practicing in telehealth

Active state licensure covering at least 40% of the U.S. population, including California, Texas, Florida, and New York (non-negotiable)

U.S.-trained (medical education and clinical training completed in the United States)

Strong comfort managing triage and variable acuity in a virtual care environment

Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a patient-centered approach

Ability to quickly adopt new tools, workflows, and clinical platforms

Must be U.S.-based, with availability aligned to U.S. care delivery
