Compensation: $155,000 – $225,000 base salary
Bonus & Benefits: Full benefits package + performance-based bonus

HireNow Staffing is partnering with a top-tier Am Law 50 firm to recruit a seasoned and skilled Senior Manager, Enterprise Content Management Systems. This role is central to the firm's ability to manage, protect, and collaborate on information at scale—supporting both business outcomes and an exceptional user experience across the organization.
This is a leadership-plus-hands-on role for an ECM expert who understands the complexity, risk profile, and performance expectations of enterprise content platforms in a legal or professional services environment.
The Opportunity
The Senior Manager will own the strategy, governance, and day-to-day excellence of the firm's enterprise content platforms. You will lead a dedicated ECM team while partnering closely with IT, Information Governance, Security, and business stakeholders to ensure systems are secure, compliant, scalable, and intuitive for end users.
This role is ideal for a leader who can balance platform strategy with operational execution, drive adoption through training and support, and anticipate future needs as technology and regulatory landscapes evolve.
Role Overview
In this role, you will be accountable for the administration, optimization, and continuous improvement of enterprise content systems—serving as both a strategic advisor and a technical leader. You will guide platform decisions, vendor relationships, and team performance while ensuring alignment with firm-wide information governance standards.
Key Responsibilities
Candidates must demonstrate the ability to perform the following responsibilities to be considered for interview:

Oversee the administration, configuration, and optimization of enterprise content management platforms to ensure secure, compliant, and efficient document management

Enforce document lifecycle management, access controls, and data security in alignment with Information Governance policies

Develop and deliver training programs and user support to promote best practices and strong platform adoption

Serve as the primary point of contact for ECM platform vendors and internal business stakeholders

Monitor industry trends and emerging ECM technologies; evaluate applicability and value to the firm
-
Recommend and execute platform strategy, enhancements, and roadmap initiatives based on evolving business needs

Lead, mentor, and manage the ECM team, driving high performance, responsiveness, and service excellence

Provide hands-on technical leadership for core platforms, including:

iManage DMS
-
Microsoft Teams Workspaces
-
Microsoft SharePoint
-
Client collaboration and external sharing platforms
-

Support complex SharePoint development and customization requirements
-
Partner with IT, Security, and Information Governance teams to ensure compliance, resilience, and scalability
Required Qualifications (Must-Haves)
Candidates must meet all of the following to be considered:

10+ years of experience in IT enterprise systems roles, delivering high-availability platforms

5+ years of experience leading and managing technical teams
-
5+ years of experience in enterprise content management, document management systems, or related functions

Deep, hands-on experience managing a legal document management system, preferably iManage
-
Experience implementing and managing Microsoft Teams Workspaces, ideally using Intapp Workspaces

5+ years of experience managing intranet platforms, preferably Microsoft SharePoint
-
Strong knowledge of information governance, data privacy, and compliance best practices

Prior experience in the legal or professional services industry

Ability and willingness to work onsite in New York City
Preferred Qualifications (Strongly Emphasized)

Experience supporting enterprise and external collaboration platforms, including deal rooms, extranets, and secure client collaboration environments

Proven ability to translate complex technical concepts into practical guidance for non-technical users

Experience leading platform modernization or large-scale ECM initiatives

Strong vendor management and contract negotiation experience

Track record of improving user adoption, performance, and satisfaction across enterprise platforms

Bachelor's degree in business, Information Systems, or a related field
