Compensation: $130,000 – $250,000 base salary
Additional Compensation: Bonus eligibility

The Opportunity
HireNow Staffing is partnering with an Am Law 100 firm to recruit a seasoned and skilled Labor & Employment Associate for its nationally recognized L&E practice based in Tampa.
This role is designed for attorneys who want early responsibility, exposure to high-caliber national clients, and the opportunity to work closely with firm shareholders on sophisticated labor and employment matters. Role Overview
As a Labor & Employment Associate, you will play a substantive role in litigation and advisory matters while developing your practice within a fast-paced, high-performing team. Associates are expected to contribute meaningfully to case strategy, deliver polished legal work, and interact directly with clients early in their tenure.
The ideal candidate combines intellectual rigor with practical execution and thrives in an environment that values initiative and accountability.
Key Responsibilities
To be considered for interview, candidates must demonstrate the ability to:

Handle labor and employment litigation matters for a sophisticated, national client base

Draft high-quality pleadings, motions, and legal memoranda

Take ownership of substantive legal work and contribute to case strategy and outcomes

Collaborate closely with shareholders and senior attorneys on complex matters

Manage multiple matters efficiently while maintaining precision and attention to detail

Communicate clearly and professionally with clients and internal stakeholders
Required Qualifications
Candidates must meet all of the following to be considered:

3–6 years of total legal experience (ONLY)

Strong academic credentials with GPA clearly listed on resume

Excellent legal research, writing, and analytical skills

Strong verbal communication and interpersonal abilities

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-expectation environment

Demonstrated interest in or exposure to Labor & Employment law
Preferred Qualifications (Strongly Emphasized)
Candidates meeting the following criteria will receive priority consideration:

Federal judicial clerkship experience (any court level strongly preferred)

Combination of federal clerkship + law firm experience (ideal profile)

Prior hands-on Labor & Employment practice experience at a highly regarded firm

Graduation from a Top 30 law school

Exceptional academic performance that may offset fewer years of experience

Personal or professional connections to Tampa or Florida, indicating long-term commitment
The firm may consider candidates straight from a federal clerkship or with slightly fewer years of experience if academic credentials are exceptional.
