Compensation: $100,000 - $110,000 + Commission

About the Opportunity
HireNow Staffing is partnering with an innovative healthcare AI startup that is transforming drug development through digital pathology and virtual staining technologies. We are seeking a seasoned Account Executive specializing in biopharma to expand adoption of these cutting-edge solutions across pharmaceutical and biotech organizations.
This is a strategic, consultative sales role not transactional, not volume based. The ideal candidate is fluent in the scientific and operational realities of biopharma labs, understands the complexities of long sales cycles, and excels at positioning technical solutions to scientific and executive stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
Candidates must demonstrate experience executing the following responsibilities to be considered for an interview:
Full-Cycle Sales Ownership

Manage the complete sales process across assigned territories and key biopharma accounts.

Meet and exceed quarterly and annual revenue targets for platform subscriptions and deployment contracts.

Maintain accurate pipeline data, forecasting, and activity tracking in HubSpot CRM.

Lead technical product demonstrations tailored to scientific, operational, and commercial decision-makers.

Develop customized proposals, pricing structures, presentations, and Statements of Work (SOWs).
Prospecting & Lead Generation

Drive net-new business through outbound outreach, targeted prospecting, and conference-based networking.

Represent the company at industry events (e.g., CAP, PathVisions, HLTH, SITC) to cultivate relationships and generate leads.

Qualify opportunities by assessing technical needs, budget readiness, and implementation complexity.

Collaborate with marketing to convert inbound interest from digital campaigns, webinars, and thought leadership pieces.
Customer Relationship Leadership

Build trusted relationships with pathologists, lab directors, research leads, procurement teams, and biopharma executives.

Develop a deep understanding of customer workflows, pain points, and scientific objectives to position solutions effectively.

Work cross-functionally with Product, Customer Success, and Regulatory teams to ensure alignment with customer requirements.

Serve as primary point of contact throughout the sales cycle and early onboarding phases.
Market Intelligence & Strategic Input

Develop domain expertise in digital pathology, AI/ML in diagnostics, lab automation, and staining workflows.

Provide structured feedback to Product and Marketing on market trends, product gaps, and customer insights.

Contribute to sales collateral, case studies, competitive positioning, and industry research.
Cross-Functional Partnership

Collaborate with technical teams to design proof-of-concept (POC) evaluations and pilot deployments.

Support Legal and Regulatory teams in navigating contracting, compliance, and data governance requirements.

Partner with Customer Success on seamless handoff and successful customer adoption.

Engage with Marketing to ensure alignment on campaign quality and pipeline health.
Required Qualifications
Candidates without the following will not be considered:

3+ years of full-cycle B2B sales experience selling into pharmaceutical or biopharma organizations

Proven history of exceeding quota in complex, technical, or scientific sales environments

Experience with digital pathology, lab equipment, SaaS, diagnostics, or life science technology

Working knowledge of pathology, histology workflows, staining processes, and lab operations

Strong consultative selling skills with the ability to communicate persuasively to scientific and business audiences

Proficiency with CRM systems (HubSpot preferred)

Ability to travel 25-35% for onsite meetings and conferences
-
Highly organized, self-directed, and comfortable in a fast-paced startup environment
Preferred Qualifications Strongly Emphasized

Experience selling scientific or AI-driven solutions to enterprise biopharma accounts

Exposure to early-stage startup environments and conference-driven enterprise sales
