Job Responsibilities:

  • Manage daily pastry production schedules to ensure timely production output and fulfillment of operational requirements.
  • Ensure consistency of recipes, product taste, appearance, and overall product quality across all production batches.
  • Monitor production efficiency, optimize workflow, and minimize material wastage to improve operational performance and cost control.
  • Lead and supervise production supervisors, operators, and production staff to ensure smooth daily operations and adherence to production targets.
  • Ensure compliance with food hygiene, GMP, HACCP, and food safety standards throughout all production processes.
  • Coordinate new product trials, process improvements, and production optimization activities in collaboration with relevant departments.
  • Monitor raw material usage, inventory planning, and stock control to support uninterrupted production operations.
  • Train, guide, and develop the pastry production team to improve skills, productivity, and operational performance.
  • Prepare production reports, monitor KPIs, and support management in achieving production and quality objectives.
  • Ensure proper maintenance and cleanliness of production equipment and work areas.

Job Requirements

  • Diploma or Degree in Culinary Arts, Bakery, Food Science, Food Technology, or related field.
  • Minimum 5–8 years of experience in pastry, bakery, or food manufacturing environment, preferably in large-scale production operations.
  • Strong knowledge of large-scale pastry and bakery production processes.
  • Experience in managing production manpower, scheduling, and team performance.
  • Familiarity with GMP, HACCP, food hygiene, and food safety practices.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and manage multiple operational priorities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and basic production reporting.
  • Proficient in English, Mandarin and Malay, in spoken and written, in order to have smooth conversation.

Salary Range: Up to Rm15k

Location: Gelang Patah, Johor
