Job Descriptions
  • Manage and oversee the full set of accounts, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and month-end closing activities.
  • Prepare and monitor cash flow forecasts, ensuring effective cash flow management and financial stability.
  • Develop and manage budgets, financial forecasts, and cost control measures.
  • Prepare and analyze Profit & Loss (P&L) statements, financial performance reports, and management reports.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for management review and decision-making.
  • Ensure compliance with statutory requirements, including taxation, audit requirements, SST, and other regulatory obligations.
  • Liaise with external auditors, tax agents, banks, and relevant authorities when required.
  • Review and improve internal controls, accounting procedures, and financial processes to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Monitor project financial performance, including construction project costs, budget variances, and profitability.
  • Provide financial insights and recommendations to support business planning and strategic decisions.
  • Ensure accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of financial data and reporting.
  • Lead and guide the finance team in daily accounting operations and best practices.
Job Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or equivalent professional qualification (e.g., ACCA, CPA, MIA).
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in finance/accounting, with relevant experience in the construction industry.
  • Strong experience in handling full set accounts and financial reporting.
  • Good knowledge and experience in cash flow management, budgeting, forecasting, and P&L analysis.
  • Familiar with construction accounting practices, including project costing, progress claims, and cost control.
  • Strong understanding of statutory compliance requirements, including tax, audit, SST, and financial regulations.
  • Excellent analytical skills with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Good knowledge of accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently, manage deadlines, and handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Salary Range: RM7,000 - 10,000
