Job Descriptions
- Oversee daily warehouse operations including receiving, storage, material issuance, kitting, and shipment.
- Ensure accurate inventory control and conduct regular stock audits to meet operational requirements.
- Implement lean warehouse practices to improve material flow and efficiency.
- Coordinate with production, planning, and procurement teams to ensure timely material availability.
- Manage warehouse staff, including training, scheduling, and performance evaluations.
- Ensure compliance with safety and industry standards within warehouse operations.
- Monitor warehouse KPIs (e.g., inventory accuracy, on-time delivery, cycle time) and drive continuous improvement.
- Optimize warehouse layout and material handling processes to reduce cost and enhance productivity.
- Handle logistics and coordination with freight forwarders and suppliers for inbound and outbound shipments.
- Implement ERP/MES/WMS systems for effective warehouse management and reporting.
Job Requirements
- Diploma/Degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, or related field.
- Minimum 7 years of warehouse management experience, especially in logistics and transportation industry.
- Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory control, and material flow management.
- Proficiency in ERP/WMS systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar).
- Experience in operating automation warehouse systems will be an added advantage.
- Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- Good communication skills in English; Mandarin is an added advantage for supplier/vendor interaction.
