Company Background 

Our client is a leading manufacturer of automotive appliances, specializing in the production of high-quality vehicle components and systems. The company serves both local and international markets, providing reliable products to support the automotive industry's supply chain.

Key Responsibilities

1. Production & Process Management

• Lead daily injection molding operation.
• Monitor and optimize molding parameters to improve efficiency, reduce scrap, and minimize downtime.
• Ensure equipment are properly set up and running smoothly.

2. Team Leadership

• Supervise and mentor molding technicians and operators.
• Assign daily tasks, monitor performance, and provide training on processes and safety.

3. Technical Support & Troubleshooting

• Lead troubleshooting for molding defects, machine issues, and automation-related stoppages.
• Participate in mold trials, sample runs, and NPI.

4. Quality & Compliance

• Ensure molded parts meet dimensional, cosmetic, and functional requirements.
• Support quality inspections, SPC monitoring, and documentation.

5. Equipment, Tooling & Maintenance

• Coordinate mold maintenance and machine preventive maintenance with relevant teams.
• Ensure efficient use of automation equipment.
• Identify and escalate equipment issues requiring engineering support.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Diploma / Degree in Mechanical, Plastics, Manufacturing, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 3-5 years of injection molding experience.
• Strong understanding of injection molding machines.
• Knowledge of polymers, mold design, and molding troubleshooting.
• Hands-on, proactive, and quality-focused mindset.
