Job Description (JD)
- Lead quality planning activities for New Product Introduction (NPI) and automation projects
- Act as the key quality representative during project development, from design to mass production
- Develop and implement APQP, PPAP, Control Plans, PFMEA, and quality documentation
- Collaborate with R&D, Design, Process, and Manufacturing teams to ensure product and process quality readiness
- Drive design for quality (DFQ) and risk assessment during early product development stages
- Establish product quality standards, inspection criteria, and validation plans
- Lead first article inspection (FAI), process validation, and pilot run evaluations
- Identify potential risks and implement preventive actions before mass production
- Manage customer quality requirements, including audits, documentation, and project deliverables
- Analyze quality data and support continuous improvement initiatives
- Support customer complaints related to new products and ensure timely closure using tools like 8D
- Ensure compliance with ISO / IATF quality systems and customer-specific requirements
Job Requirements (JR)
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Mechanical / Electrical / Mechatronics / Manufacturing or related field)
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in Advanced Quality / NPI / Project Quality within automation or manufacturing industry
- Strong knowledge of APQP, PPAP, FMEA, Control Plan, MSA, SPC
- Experience in automation systems, equipment assembly, or precision engineering is highly preferred
- Familiar with product development lifecycle and process validation
- Experience handling customer quality requirements and audits
- Strong analytical, risk assessment, and problem-solving skills
- Good project management and cross-functional coordination skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (especially Excel for data analysis)
- Knowledge of ISO 9001 / IATF 16949 is required
- Six Sigma certification (Green Belt or above) is an advantage
- Mandarin speaker is an advantage (to liaise with Mandarin-speaking stakeholders)
