Key Responsibilities

1. Market Development & Sales Management
- Drive sales of Structure Channel, construction fasteners, and structural components across Malaysia's building and construction sector.
- Develop and execute regional sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and performance goals.
- Focus on penetrating industrial & commercial building markets and the rapidly growing data centre infrastructure market.

2. Client Relationship Management

- Build and maintain direct relationships with Consultants and Main Contractors.
- Engage in early-stage project design involvement to drive product specification and selection.
- Manage both key account (direct sales) and channel partner relationships.

3. Channel Development & Management

- Develop and manage a network of distributors and dealers across the region.
- Provide product training, technical support, and marketing assistance to channel partners.

4. Market Intelligence & Competitive Analysis

- Continuously monitor construction industry trends, competitor activities, and evolving customer needs.
- Provide market feedback and recommendations to support product strategy and supply chain optimization.

Job Requirements

  • Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Marketing, or a related field (preferred).
  • Minimum 5 years of sales experience in building materials within the construction industry, with at least 3 years focused on structural steel, construction fasteners, or related structural components.
  • Strong understanding of Malaysia's construction market operations and procurement processes.
  • Established direct relationships with Consultants and Main Contractors.
  • Verifiable client network and project experience, particularly in industrial & commercial buildings and data centre infrastructure sectors.
  • Excellent negotiation, client relationship management, and communication skills.
  • Proven ability to independently develop markets and manage sales channels.
  • Strong teamwork mindset and self-motivation.
  • Valid driving licence and willingness to travel frequently within Malaysia.

Salary Range: RM8k basic + Commission
