Job Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily accounting and finance operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and bank reconciliations. 
  • Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and statements in compliance with local regulations and accounting standards (e.g., IFRS). 
  • Manage budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities. 
  • Ensure timely and accurate tax filings, including SST, income tax, and other statutory requirements in Malaysia. 
  • Liaise with external auditors, tax agents, and regulatory authorities. 
  • Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures. 
  • Review and improve accounting processes and systems for greater efficiency and accuracy. 
  • Provide financial analysis and advice to support management in strategic decision making. 
  • Support ad hoc financial projects and assignments as required by management. 
  • Experience with Free Industrial Zone (FIZ) operations, exemptions, and related tax matters in Malaysia is highly preferred. 
  • Proficient in accounting software (e.g., SAP) and Microsoft Office applications. 
  • Able to work independently, meet deadlines, and handle multiple tasks. 
  • Good command of English and Bahasa Malaysia; Mandarin language skills are an advantage. 

Job Requirements: 
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. 
  • Minimum 7 years' experience in accounting/finance operations. 
  • Strong knowledge of IFRS, Malaysian tax laws, SST, and statutory requirements. 
  • Experience in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning. 
  • Familiarity with Free Industrial Zone (FIZ) operations and related tax matters preferred. 
  • Proficient in SAP and Microsoft Office applications. 
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and process improvement skills.
  • Excellent communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia; Chinese is an advantage. 
  • Ability to work independently, manage deadlines, and handle multiple priorities.
Location: Senai, Johor 
Salary Range: Up to RM10k
