Quality Manager (Injection) | Senai

Job Description:

1. Quality Management

• Develop, implement, and maintain QMS.
• Ensure all injection molding products meet quality standards
• Monitor production processes
• Lead root cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions for quality issues

2. Process & Production Quality

• Oversee in-process and final inspection for injection molded parts
• Work closely with production and engineering teams
• Review and approve quality documentation such as inspection reports, control plans, and quality procedures

3. Customer & Supplier Quality

• Handle customer complaints and coordinate corrective action plans
• Manage quality audits from customers and regulatory bodies
• Work with suppliers to ensure incoming materials meet quality requirements

4. Continuous Improvement

• Lead quality improvement initiatives to reduce defects, scrap, and rework
• Analyze quality data and implement preventive measures
• Promote quality awareness and training within the organization

Requirements

• Bachelors Degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality Management, or related field
• Minimum 5 years of experience in quality management within manufacturing
• Experience in plastic injection molding industry is required
• Strong knowledge of quality tools (Root Cause Analysis, 8D, FMEA, SPC, etc.)
• Familiar with ISO quality standards (e.g., ISO 9001)
• Strong leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Good communication skills to liaise with customers, suppliers, and internal teams

Location: Senai, Johor

Salary Range: Up to RM10k
