Key Responsibilities
- Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers for products, materials, and services.
- Prepare and process purchase orders in accordance with company procedures.
- Monitor stock levels and ensure timely replenishment of materials.
- Track purchase orders and delivery schedules to ensure on-time arrival.
- Maintain accurate purchasing records, pricing, supplier information, and documentation.
- Coordinate with internal departments regarding procurement requirements.
- Handle supplier performance evaluation, pricing comparison, and cost-saving initiatives.
- Resolve issues related to delivery delays, damaged goods, or supply discrepancies.
- Convert purchase orders to Purchase Invoice in AutoCount system.
- Monitor supplier outstanding balances and reconcile creditor statements.
- Prepare purchasing reports and support budgeting activities.
- Ensure purchased products and materials meet quality and operational requirements.
Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Purchasing, or related field.
- Minimum 2–3 years of purchasing or procurement experience, preferably in manufacturing or FMCG industry.
- Familiar with AutoCount, ERP systems, and Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Able to work independently, under pressure, and in a fast-paced environment.
- Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Team player with good time management skills.
