Company Background

Key Responsibilities
1. Process Development & Optimization
- Develop, set, and optimize molding parameters for new and existing products.
- Conduct mold trials, process validations, and capability studies.
- Improve cycle time, material efficiency, and overall process stability.
- Implement DOE (Design of Experiments) for process improvement.
2. Tooling & Equipment Management
- Collaborate and take part into mold design, modification, and preventive maintenance.
- Support mold qualification, sample runs, and tooling approval.
3. Troubleshooting & Technical Support
- Analyze molding defects and lead root cause investigations.
- Provide daily technical support to production teams and resolve process issues.
4. Quality Assurance
- Ensure molded parts meet dimensional, cosmetic, and functional specifications.
- Work with QA teams and prepare necessary documentation: process sheets, WI (work instructions), and validation reports.
5. New Product Introduction (NPI)
- Participate in design reviews for new molds, parts, and materials.
- Coordinate sample submissions and pilot builds.
6. Continuous Improvement
- Drive Lean, Six Sigma, or Kaizen initiatives to enhance performance.
- Identify opportunities to reduce scrap, downtime, and operating costs.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Diploma/Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Plastics Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field.
- 2-5 years of hands-on injection molding experience.
- Familiarity with mold/tooling; experience in automation industry is highly preferable.
- Knowledge of molding machines.
