Job Summary

To lead and optimize CNC machining operations for high-pressure die cast (HPDC) components. The role is responsible for ensuring machining processes are stable, efficient, and capable of meeting quality, cost, and delivery requirements while driving continuous improvement in production performance.

Job Description

• Develop and optimize CNC programs for 3-axis and 5-axis milling and turning machines.
• Propose efficient jig and tooling designs to reduce setup time and improve machining cycle time.
• Set up CNC machines according to engineering specifications and job orders.
• Operate CNC milling and turning machines to produce precision components within required tolerances.
• Collaborate with production teams to ensure project deadlines and production targets are achieved.
• Prepare setup sheets, work instructions, and machining documentation to support production operations.
• Conduct first-off inspection and quality checks in accordance with company standards.
• Monitor machining performance and troubleshoot machining issues to reduce defects and downtime.
• Ensure compliance with ISO 9001, TS16949, and ISO 14001 standards and company procedures.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity, quality, and operational efficiency.

Job Description

• Diploma or Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent qualification.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in CNC programming and machining.
• Experience in CNC milling and turning machines (3-axis and 5-axis).
• Familiar with CAD/CAM software such as Mastercam and SolidWorks.
• Strong ability to read and interpret complex engineering drawings.
• Experience in tooling, jig design, and machining setup optimization is an added advantage.
• Experience working with materials such as aluminum alloys, stainless steel, brass, nylon, and Teflon.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
