Warehouse Supervisor | Johor Bahru

Company Background:

Our client is the leading supplier of seafood and frozen foods. Their headquarter is situated in Johor Bahru (JB), Malaysia. The company carry a broad line of national brands and continuously analyse trends and conditions to identify the best purchase values.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily warehouse operations including receiving, storage, picking, packing, dispatch, and stock replenishment.

• Manage frozen and chilled products, ensuring strict adherence to FIFO and FEFO principles.

• Lead, supervise, and schedule warehouse staff to ensure smooth workflow and productivity.

• Ensure high order accuracy and minimize stock discrepancies, damages, and losses.

• Monitor inventory levels and ensure proper stock preparation and availability.

• Implement and enforce warehouse SOPs, 5S practices, hygiene, and safety standards.

• Coordinate daily operations with Sales, Logistics/Transportation, and Purchasing departments.

• Handle warehouse-related issues such as stock shortages, damaged goods, and customer complaints.

• Prepare regular operational reports and update the Operations Manager or management team on warehouse performance.

Job Requirements:

• Minimum SPM qualification; higher education is an advantage.

• At least 5 years of warehouse management experience.

• Experience leading a team of 10 or more staff.

• Familiar with basic inventory systems and proficient in Microsoft Excel or similar tools.

• Experience handling frozen and chilled food products is highly preferred.

• Able to perform physical work and work in cold storage environments.

• Strong sense of responsibility with clear understanding of role and accountability.

• Good planning, prioritization, and problem-solving skills.

• Able to lead the team to achieve operational targets efficiently and on time.

Salary Range: RM3000 - RM5000
