Test Engineer

Requirements:

• Perform functional, stress, and performance testing on electronic assemblies produced by SMT machines.
• Identify and troubleshoot defects in SMT-assembled boards and ensure compliance with quality standards.
• Operate, set up, and maintain SMT machines, ensuring they are functioning properly for accurate testing.
• Document test results, issues, and corrective actions taken, and prepare detailed test reports.
• Diagnose and resolve test failures, working closely with the engineering team & production teams to improve manufacturing processes and reduce defects.
• Recommend improvements to testing processes and SMT machine operations.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in SMT machine operations and testing within an EMS Industry.
• Strong understanding of electronic components, PCB, PCB-A, SMT and circuit board testing techniques.
• Experience with testing tools and equipment (oscilloscopes, multimeters, etc.).
• Knowledge of quality control standards and troubleshooting procedures.
• Good communication skills and attention to detail.
• Fluent in Mandarin and English in order to have a smooth conversation with colleagues and clients.
