Job Description:

  1. Utilize SolidWorks for creating and modifying 3D models, technical drawings, and simulations.
  2. Develop and prototype new designs, from conceptualization to production, ensuring high precision and manufacturability.
  3. Lead or take part in NPI projects. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to review and refine product specifications, requirements, and designs.
  4. Create detailed technical drawings using industry-standard tools, ensuring compliance with relevant standards.
  5. Develop 3D prototypes to validate design concepts and support the prototyping process.
  6. Analyze the cost impact of design choices and contribute to cost reduction initiatives without compromising quality or performance.
  7. Actively participate in brainstorming sessions, design reviews, and performance testing. Contribute to the development of best practices in R&D and design processes.


Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelors or Masters degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, or related field.
  • 2-3 years of practical experience in R&D, preferably within the manufacturing environment.
  • Solid experience with SolidWorks for 3D modeling, design, and simulation.
  • Strong knowledge of technical drawing and 3D prototyping processes.

  • Familiarity with New Product Introduction (NPI) and product lifecycle management.
  • Knowledge of semiconductor component design and manufacturing processes is a plus.
  • Proficiency in SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or similar CAD software.
  • Ability to analyze, troubleshoot, and solve complex engineering problems.
